Tower Lotrščak

Lotršćak is one of the symbols of Zagreb. It is located in Gradec, next to the former small town gates Dverce. With Popov Tower and the Stone Gate, Tower Lotrščak is considered today the best preserved building of urban defense system. Lotršćak was initially called a house of Dverce, but in 1646 when the bell was placed within, the tower began to be called Lotrščak. In the tower is the famous Gricki cannon that shoots every day marking noon. At the top of the tower is a dome with a lookout point.
